Junior Internal Sales & Quotes Engineer
Location: Hove
Salary: £27/32k – depending on experience
This role would be suitable for a Graduate or Entry Level Engineer or 1-3 years experience.
A Junior Internal Sales & Quotes Engineer is required to support the delivery of technically compliant, commercially robust quotations for Electrical Systems.
This is a really exciting opportunity to for either an entry level graduate/hnc/city and guilds qualified engineer.
The role acts as the interface between sales, engineering, production, and project delivery, ensuring customer requirements are accurately translated into costed, competitive tenders.
As a Junior Internal Sales & Quotes Engineer, you will prepare quotations, build estimated Bills of Materials, review cost accuracy, and support tender negotiations for complex engineering projects. You will work closely with senior sales engineers and business development teams, contributing to long-term customer relationships and continuous improvement across commercial processes.
This is a permanent, office-based role with occasional UK travel, suited to candidates with an engineering or technical background looking to develop a long-term career in technical sales and project support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing accurate quotations and estimated Bills of Materials
- Preparing technical and commercial documentation
- Supporting tender activity and cost reviews
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams
- Maintaining sales order data and commercial records
- Business Development – gaining new customers
- Marketing or social media opportunities
For this role, its is key to have a technical qualification and the drive to build new business development opportunities.
