This Component Engineer position focuses on product data accuracy, part number creation, bill-of-material (BOM) control, supplier liaison, and maintaining precise technical information within an MRP environment. Responsibilities
- Create and maintain product records, including part numbers and BOMs, within an MRP system.
- Review technical data sheets, drawings, and supplier information to ensure accuracy.
- Support engineering and quality teams with product information, inspection requirements, and verification tasks.
- Manage updates to existing product data, ensuring consistency and traceability.
- Assist with product inspection guidance when required.
- Maintain reliable document control and version management.
