Wire Person / Fitter – Hailsham – Short term contract
Our client who are in the cutting edge of manufacturing technology are seeking an experienced Wire Person / Fitter to join their team in Hailsham, the ideal candidate will have experience in cable assemblies, cable looms, panel wiring, and mechanical fitting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as a Wire Person / Fitter, assembling and wiring electrical components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings/schematics, identifying any build issues.
- Test and inspect completed work to ensure high standards.
- Fit and assemble mechanical components, ensuring correct alignment and functionality.
- Carry out basic mechanical modifications and installations.
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven Wire Person / Fitter experience.
- Ability to follow technical drawings with attention to detail.
- Experience with hand tools for mechanical assembly.
- Strong communication skills and a flexible approach.
