We are partnering with a global aerospace manufacturing company that is launching a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Towcester. As part of this exciting expansion, they are looking to build a team of Electronics – Mechanical Assemblers to support high-quality aerospace manufacturing.

Selection & Training Process
- Open Day: One afternoon in mid-February (mandatory as part of the selection process)
- Training Programme:
- Starts in early March
- 3 days per week for up to 12 weeks in Surrey and 2 days in Towcester, thereafter, based in Towcester
- All travel and accommodation expenses fully covered
- Candidates must be fully available for the training period
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle are highly desirable
Key Responsibilities (Post-Training)
- Assemble electro-mechanical components including fans, motors, and heaters in line with technical drawings and specifications
- Use hand tools and precision measuring equipment such as torque drivers, micrometers, and verniers
- Carry out drilling, tapping, reaming, countersinking, filing, buffing, lubrication, and general assembly tasks
- Connect cables and wiring to specification
- Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain assembly equipment and comply with manufacturing procedures
- Accurately complete production and quality documentation
- Participate in Continuous Improvement and 5S activities
- Adhere to all Health & Safety requirements, including PPE
- Support team members and assist with training where required

- Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach
- Genuine interest in engineering and a willingness to learn
- Comfortable with fine motor skills and precision work
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Self-motivated with strong time-management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping
- Previous electro-mechanical assembly experience is welcome but not essential
