Demand Planner – Engineering / Manufacturing
Location: Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey
Salary: £42,000–£48,000 (dependent on experience)

As a Demand Planner, you will be central to the company’s Sales and Operations Planning process, driving validated demand forecasts, supporting bids for new technology, and helping senior leaders make data-driven decisions that improve on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

As a Demand Planner, you will be central to the company’s Sales and Operations Planning process, driving validated demand forecasts, supporting bids for new technology, and helping senior leaders make data-driven decisions that improve on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly Demand Review process within the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle
- Analyse and present market and demand data to support decision-making at senior level
- Build a framework to capture and validate demand across business units
- Collaborate with Business Development, Engineering, and Project Management to deliver timely and accurate bid responses
- Forecast resource requirements and staffing levels for new product development projects
- Maintain demand KPIs, including forecast accuracy and business exposure to risk
- Provide “what if” and scenario planning support to Production and Operations
- Manage Original Equipment demand profiles in the ERP system (Navision)
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a planning, forecasting, or scheduling role
- Strong data analysis and presentation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Sound understanding of S&OP, master scheduling, and production planning
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Indirect leadership ability – able to influence across departments
